(More customer reviews)The suction cup is very large compared to most OEM windshield mounts, and as a result it is very secure and can hold just about anything. It is not so large as to effect your view.
I didn't like how long the mount arm is, so using a screw driver I removed the middle section of the arm, reassembled it, and now it is out closer to the windshield, and even more secure (I have this in a Jeep, so it doesn't bounce around as much now).
I use this with a Motorola Droid, Droid Eris, and Garmin GPS. The mount adjusts quickly for use with any of them, and the clamps that hold the device can slide in either direction, so I can move them out of the way for the volume buttons and power cords of each device.
