It provides protection, easier handling, and a great grip. The case is user friendly and has cut-out holes in all of the right places so that it does not interfere with any of the buttons or functions on the gps. I was thrilled that a screen protector and cleaner also came with the case. If you want a little protection and a gps that is much easier to hold onto, this is for you!
