I bought this kit for my for '05 Odyssey -- liked the custom fit look when mounting a cell phone.
Mid installation I noticed that the kit was missing the SP-SBH-Kit part which mounts the SM050-2 Universal phone holder to the IF-71-03-G3 Vehicle Specific Mount (ball mount)..
I managed to retro fit a difference phone holder that I had to the VSB ball mount using parts that I had from a past vent mount installation, but was not happy to have to do this especially for the $36 price paid.
Also the SM050-2 slim grip universal phone holder, while being a neat design, is still too short when fully extended to hold a samsung captivate Android smart phone. It just fits it when fully extended but is in no way a viable solution as you have to force it into the holder which would make it a chore every time you insert or remove it from the car. Will work great for shorter devices but a waste of money for my purposes.
My final installation result was scheived but I feel I payed more that I needed to for the kit...thay should have sold the pieces seperately....so the morale of my story is to check the parts before taking the dash apart.
I gave it 2 stars for the mis-packaging, unusable "universal" phone holder and higher than I should have had to pay for just the vehicle specific mount price..
