(More customer reviews)I bought the uPro Portable Emergency AA Battery Extender in order to salvage a round of golf if my battery went dead or I forgot to charge it in between rounds. I quickly found out that my uPro goes into charge mode when this thing is plugged into the USB port and will not allow you to use the GPS function until the battery is recharged. I was told by the manufacturer that I needed another tip to be able to use it on the course. Item is very cheaply built and overpriced in my opinion. Unless you're somewhere without access to electricity you're better off buying a second battery and keeping it in your bag.
