(More customer reviews)My TomTom 720 mount broke where the clear plastic suction point attached to the black plastic frame. I tried to fix it, but it didn't last long.
After careful research and considering several alternatives, I found this to be the best, and least expensive alternative.
I was impressed with the build quality. I thought the handle to attach the suction part to the window, and the actual suction area was far better than TomTom's original part. I had to use part of the old TomTom mount to make this work, but that is how it is designed. (The part where the TomTom mounts to, detaches from the swivel point, and attaches to this part.)So don't bother if you don't have your old mount. I thought it worked really well, because you can use the part with the Tomtom plugs and electrics, but get a better suction point. You also seem to have all the same swivel flexibility to ensure you can mount the device just how you want to.
So now I have a suction mount that works even better than the original. It also is available with an extra dash mounted plate, so you can switch cars. I didn't need that feature since both of my cars I attach the GPS to the window.
