(More customer reviews)I bought this bundle for the AC charger, which I knew would not be included with the GPS. That, and because the description of the Nuvi 265WT (which I bought in the same order) seemed vague about whether a USB cable was included. Turns out the Nuvi does come with a USB cable (and a car charger). So if you're considering buying this because you think you'll need a USB cable, don't bother. I suppose if the 12V in-car charger that came with the unit dies or gets lost someday, the car charger will become useful. That's assuming I store it where I can find it. The 12V charger that came with the unit seems far more rugged than this one, by the way.
Bottom line: The one part I've tried, the AC adapter, works just dandy. It may even do double duty charging up an MP3 player, since the Nuvi end of it is just a garden-variety "mini-D" USB plug). But they don't advertise it for that function, so try it at your own risk!
