(More customer reviews)I have a Magellan Maestro 4040 that is 4 or 5 years old. The last couple of map updates cost $80 each and the last one available for that model was 2008. I looked at the Roadmate 1475 on the Magellan website and a refurbished one was $150. The cable for live traffic was $80.
I purchased my Refurbished Magellan Roadmate 1475 from Amazon for $84. The live traffic cable was $30 and of course no shipping nor sales tax charges.
The 1475 has free map updates for life and the live traffic updates have no subscription fee; no charge at all.
I am thoroughly pleased with the unit. In fact I purchased a second one. The menus are all improved and more user friendly than those of the Maestro 4040.
I strongly recommend this model to anyone purchasing their first GPS Navigator or replacing an older unit. A terrific bargain.
