(More customer reviews)Ok so it's bad enough that we have to pay that much for maps that Garmin gets free, (At least Delorme gives you maps with their gps units), but now they make it that you can only use the maps for one unit. It's kinda shameful. That being said. It took me quite a while to load cuz I was trying it the old way. Once I realized that I no longer needed to go into the unlock maps portion on the computer, it took no time at all. See the old unlock maps portion was only when they were kind enough to let you install to more than one unit.
Now I figured with the old maps I had I could just contact Garmin and pay for an unlock code for an additional gps unit. They informed me that it would cost as much for an unlock code as buying a whole new map and that I should try Amazon for a cheaper price. I did just that. If it weren't for that really cool chirp thing, I don't think I would've even wasted my money on the gps,maps, etc.
These maps are a real pain in the butt to install and well I'm thinking these should come free with the unit, but if you have to buy a gps, this is the newest map to this date.
