(More customer reviews)I purchased this universal mount for my motorcycle so I could have visual access to my iPhone and music only after seeing how easily my brother had installed and used it on his bike with his Droid X without any issues.
After researching other mounts, this was the one clear choice for me as I did not want to remove the case that protects my phone! The mount comes with 3 different sizes of flexible rubber coated fingers that securely grip your device and don't scratch it up when you are placing it in or removing it from the mount. Although you could probably get away with the smallest fingers, I use the mid-size fingers for my iPhone.
I have to admit, the first day out I was a little cautious. I checked all was secure a few different times before and after the ride. The mount is rock solid! I am very impressed and really appreciate being able to have a visual on my phone/music.
Tip:
There is a "shake to shuffle" setting on your iPhone/iPod in Settings that must be turned to 'off'; otherwise you will get a very irritating "skipping" when attempting to listen to your tunes while riding.
