(More customer reviews)I'm new to the boating scene and wanted something to show me where I was and how to get where I wanted to go in the San Joaquin delta. This does that, at least on the only time I had the opportunity to get on the water last month. I have a depth gauge on the boat and don't fish, so this doesn't have the sounder with it. I am thinking of getting the Inland Lakes VISION from Garmin just to get the extra rich detail.
As with any "toy", you have to play with it to get used to it. However, it does everything Garmin says it will. You can find out what all that entails by going to the garmin website and downloading the manual.
While you're there, download the updated software and upgrade after you initialize the unit for the first time.
AS usual, great product and service from Amazon. It arrived right on time and intact.
