(More customer reviews)For those that don't want to spring for the nearly $600 to buy a Garmin Zumo 550...this is a superb alternative for adding a less expensive Garmin GPS to your bike. I installed my 3-year old Garmin Nuvi 650 using a Ram Mount and this power cable hooked in to my BMW R1200GS Adventure's Can-Bus electrical system. I've had it installed on my bike for a month now and It works beautifully. I spent about $100 total in parts versus the $600 for a new Garmin Zumo 550. Yes, my Nuvi 650 isn't waterproof like the Zumo 550, but that's nothing a 1-quart Zip-Loc freezer bag and a rubber band can't fix on those rare occasions I get stuck in the rain. $100 versus $600? That was a no-brainer!!!
