More likely, you will not be able to get it to line up properly and have to peel it off (and throw it away. I bought two, one for an Oregon and another for a Nuvi. After the disaster with the Oregon, I tossed the Zagg for the Nuvi (after saving the cool black microfiber cloth). My recommendation? Take care of your device and don't just toss it in with your keys (where it will get scratched). With reasonable care, you don't need to spend the money (or deal with the aggravation) on a Zagg product.
P.S. I pulled the Nuvi kit out of the trash. I have a Nikon D300 and found that the Nuvi Zagg shield is large enough to cover the LCD display. I tried to put it on and trim it to fit with a razor blade. No luck there either. The stuff is so tough that you can't cut it with a razor blade. This product is certainly not worth the cost.
Zagg products are best avoided.
