(More customer reviews)I bought this for a Garmin 255w GPS unit. One of the biggest problems Garmin has is that a lot of times when you plug in a USB cable to it to power it up it goes into "computer" mode and you can't use the GPS as a fraking GPS. Garmin engineers in their infinite wisdom decided not to let the customer be able to take it off of PC mode manually. I suspect this is to sell more of their own special Garmin $30 power cables. $30 for a simple cigar lighter plug and copper wire...BAH I say!
Bottom line; This cable does exactly what it's supposed to do, and doesn't send a Garmin GPS into PC mode, and it's cheep.
PS; the included memory card adapter is very useful too, I use it all the time to get pictures off of my mobile phone's card.
