The cord is short, making it a reach to extend from the cigarette lighter plug-in, to the mount of my GPS. After two weeks of use, the plug-in of the charger broke my cigarette lighter! The design is such that it just yanked the lighter out of its base. 9 foot cord? Hah, ours didn't even reach half that...
And the "free micro SD card usb reader/writer?" Never got it.
I would not recommend this product to anyone. Pay a little more and get something that will last, without damaging your car!
