(More customer reviews)The wall charger does it's job. I just can't figure out why the screen has to be on while it's charging. It seems to think that it's connected to the computer.
The car charger also does it's job as charging it. But you can't use the GPS while it's charging in the car. Because it also thinks that your connected to the computer.
Both use the USB type of connector to connect it to the GPS
The tip of both chargers is the same and won't fit the Automotive Suction Cup Mount so you can't take advantage of the speakers on the Mount. You'll have to get the Garmin 12-Volt Vehicle DC Power Adapter for the StreetPilot C510 and C550 (010-10747-03) to make the mount work. Which is what I got eventually.
