These lines from the description imply that the product will cover and protect your entire device, as a case would. In fact, it covers the screen only - and that's IF your etrex is 7+ years old. This product was released in 2010. Why isn't it cut to fit etrex models made after 2006, like the etrex Venture? I guess I should've known from the 2001 Navagator model shown in lieu of the actual product. On the plus side, it is a durable film. I tried to cut it down to the proper size, but it held up fairly well under repeated attempts with an xacto knife. Still, $15 is pretty steep for one little screen protector that otherwise sells for $2 for a pack of 5.
