(More customer reviews)This charger works with DC and is lightning fast. It's great if you don't normally use the cord in your car that connects to your cigarette lighter or other power source. I don't like to have the power cord hanging from my windshield and charging the unit before I use it in my car avoids that. I don't use the traffic feature which isn't very good anyway so I have no need for the FM receiver attached to the cord. If you use this cord, then you don't need this charger unless you move the unit between different vehicles alot, as I do. Again, it's useful to have it fully charged and then you don't need the cord to move it between vehicles.
