The SD card comes with a list of destinations for major US cities and metropolitan regions, and a package insert includes a code for downloading voice files for Dora the Explorer.
The destinations with expanded descriptions and contact information were immediately useful, but I had tremendous difficulty downloading the voice files. Customer Service on the SpotItOut site are completely worthless if friendly.
My recommendation. Go to the Garmin site and update your Communicator Plugin. Try restarting your computer afterward. Use the Garmin site to do this, as the links from the spotitout site are out of date, as are their descriptions of the Garmin site.
Despite spotitout's claim that you can use any browser, use Internet Explorer. I finally got the voice files to download and they work just fine on my nuvi. Can't wait to see my toddlers' faces when they hear Dora's voice come out of the little cartoon box that sits on the dashboard!
