Just purchased this GPS whilst staying in the USA based on price alone.
Entering an address is simple especially using the stylus - which I only found after using the unit for a day. My first test routes were accurate to a few metres so quite impressive. My first route to a music store involved several turns near a complex freeway junction onto minor roads and without this GPS I would never have found the store using standard maps.
Spoken directions are generally good but I was disappointed when a critical instruction advised a slight left when the turn was a hard left 90 degrees and I missed a freeway entrance. ( Details - ramp onto I-4 E from Sand Lake near International Drive, Orlando Florida.) I have had this slight right / left instruction a few times when the turn is a full turn.
The manuals are very poorly written and many important features are not even included so you have to experiment. I have yet to discover if there is any way of making directions default to sound on rather than mute and also why my choice of voice isn't remembered.
The maps are clear and the display very sharp.
Location is pinpoint accurate and very impressive, almost to a parking bay !
Zooming the map is a bit of hit and miss though.
Saving addresses is easy and the GPS keeps a log / history.
Editing favorites etc is possible but not mentioned anywhere in the instructions.
As a visitor to the USA my car rental company wanted to charge $14 per day for a GPS so paying about $80 incl. tax for this unit is worth every dollar and you get to keep the GPS for future trips!
